A new chapter
I’m counting my final days at Yahoo! and getting ready for life at KA. My co-workers all insist I need to take a vacation, yet I’m so excited about what I get to do, I am already ramping up before I’ve even ramped down fully.

I’ve been getting two reactions when I tell folks I’m switching jobs to an educational non-profit: enthusiasm or apprehension. While I’ve felt both in my decision process, it’s so clear that what KA is doing is a much better use of my skills and passion.
This past year at Yahoo! has been filled with new and interesting learnings, wonderful people and lots of purple. I hope to still make good use of my purple wardrobe even though I may no longer be color coordinated with the office walls. :)
I will definitely miss the free lattes and the walks along the Bay Trail behind campus, but hey, downtown MV is not so bad! Two more weeks til the real fun begins!
